Welcome

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights was created by the United Nations to provide a common understanding of what everyone’s rights are. It forms the basis for a world built on freedom, justice and peace” (IYFHR). Uganda is a signatory to the UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and entrenched these rights in Chapter 4 of the Uganda Constitution of 1995.

What does UCAN do?

UCAN will achieve its objectives through education, training and musical & print activities, in the spirit and purport of Human Dignity, Equality and Freedom. Yes UCAN.

Raising Funds

UCAN raises funds from (i) membership, (ii) donations from public and organizations, and (iii) grants. The contribution will help in meeting the day to day needs, implementation of projects of education, training and musical & print messages.

UCAN Staff

Our small staff is paid salaries, necessary to ensure that all our activities of education, training, musical and print are carried out effectively, efficiently, and in complete accountability.

What is UCAN?

Uganda Civil Alliance Network (UCAN) is a registered organization, established in 2008, with day-to-day activities managed by a group of dedicated passionate volunteers.
